Main floor at Dacus Library
Need helping getting your laptop connected to the campus wireless network? Stop by the “Laptop Clinic” at Dacus Library and get assistance from Helpdesk staff members. Also, get information on C.L.A.W, the new Laptop Theft Recovery Program from Campus Police.
These clinics, which will be held several times throughout the semester will allow students to obtain assistance setting up their laptops to work with the campus wireless network, ensure that anti-virus software is functioning properly and up-to-date, and also give the laptop a quick “checkup” to improve the performance of the machine.
No appointment is necessary, simply stop by the station that will be set up on the main floor at Dacus. Laptops will be examined in the order of arrival and the user must stay for the session, which will be around 20 minutes per machine. For more information, please contact the HelpDesk at x2400.
