Show Your Love of Libraries This Week!

National Library Week is this week, April 10th – 16th, 2016. For a chance to win a $100 gift card and a free book by this year’s National Library Week Honorary Chair and author, Gene Luen Yang, you just have to take part in the Because ________________ #LibrariesTransform promotion. Post to Twitter, Instagram, or on the I Love Libraries Facebook page during National Library Week for a chance to win. Entries can be a picture or text.  Creativity is encouraged. Just fill in the blank telling us why libraries matter to you or your community and be sure to include the word “Because” and the hashtag #LibrariesTransform for a chance to win. There will be one randomly selected winner. Entries can also be submitted directly to the Libraries Transform website. Join in the fun. Promotion begins Sunday, April 10 at noon CT and ends Saturday, April 16 at noon CT. Visit ilovelibraries.org/nlw for official rules.

The American Library Association has provided some printable PDFs to use as props for images.
