As exams approach we know we’ll be seeing a lot of you in Dacus Library. To help you out, we will have 24 hour access 7 days/week the last couple weeks of spring semester and we’ll have more floor access between midnight and 8:00 a.m.! This means the library will be open non-stop beginning at 1:00 p.m. on April 16th until 7:00 p.m. on May 2nd. We will also have all three floors remain open during the 24 hours on weeknights. Only on the weekends will the ground and second floors be closed off at midnight and the main floor remain open.
Circulation services will be about the same – open until midnight Sundays – Thursdays, with some additional hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings. As usual, circulation services will end at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
Please be courteous to students around you and keep the noise to a minimum. Our security guards will be monitoring noise on all floors, especially the second and ground floors, which are designated quiet areas.
Remember to have your ID on you to get into the building – for safety reasons, anyone without ID will not be allowed in between midnight and 8:00 a.m.
We’ll also be providing some refreshments starting on Study Day, so don’t forget to grab a cup of coffee or hot tea to keep you awake and energized!
